About The 2023 Solar Eclipse

This year, the great American Solar Eclipse will pass the United States in a North Western direction as It crosses the country. If you look at the map to the left, you will see the path It takes. The center line will have the greatest exposure and get the full eclipse. The further you are away from that line, the less of the eclipse you will see.

The 2023 eclipse is considered an "Annular Solar Eclipse , which is different than annual. Annular refers to the eclipse being a circle or what many refer to as a ring of fire. The eclipse will begin on October 14 at 9:09 am in the morning in Marysvale, UT.

You'll see the full eclipse starting at 10:26 am and will end at 10:31am. (Which is a lot!) Most places who get viewing time of the full eclipse will get a minute or less, and even more won’t be able to see the full eclipse at all.
