Eclipse Events
The 2023 Solar Eclipse will be taking place on October 14, 2023. However that doesn't mean the fun starts or stops there! During the eclipse weekend, the town of Marysvale will be offering many fun activities. These Including Bull Riding, Live music, food trucks, night zip lining, an outdoor movie, trail rides and more!
Eclipse Trail Ride
See the eclipse from atop Monroe Mountain! Leave at 8am for a beautiful ride up to the peak of Monroe mountain in time for the full solar eclipse! Grab a breakfast burrito and a bag lunch and experience the eclipse from a vantage point like no other!

Bull Riding Event
Starting on Saturday the 14th, the day after the eclipse. There Is going to be an epic Bull Riding event at the Marysvale fair grounds.
If you are planning on spending a day or two In the area, this will be an event that you will not want to miss! So show up early In to town.
The Bull Riding event will start at 1pm in the afternoon on October 14, 2023 and will be feature some of the best bull riders around.
This event only costs $8/Adult and $4/ages 10-17 to get In and will provide entertainment for the whole family. Children 9 and under will be admitted for free.
Make the whole weekend a fun, memorable time by adding this event to your to do list after the eclipse.
Outdoor Movies
You're Invited to a FREE movie night at the Big Rock Adventure course!
On October 13 at 8pm, there will be a showing of the "Avatar the Last Airbender" episode, 'Day of Black Sun'. This will be a short but fun all ages showing that Is appropriately solar eclipse themed.
On October 14 at 8pm, we'll be treated to a showing of the acclaimed Star Wars film, Rogue One.
These will be be shown outdoors, so bundle up and enjoy! Sponsored by Big Rock Adventure.

Astronomy Guided Stargazing and Eclipse Presentation
On both October 13 and 14, the night before and after the solar eclipse, Marysvale RV park will be hosting a 1 hour stargazing presentation.
This will be a real treat as professional astronomer and Penn state grad, Devon Salasin, will be guiding us through what goes on In the sky at night. Tickets are for sale at marysvalervpark.net for $30 per person.
By the way, Marysvale Is one of the TOP dark sky locations In the United States, so your chance of seeing breathtaking stars are very high.
On October 14, there will also be an Annular Eclipse presentation between 9-12pm during the Solar eclipse. Tickets to this showcase will only cost $10 per person.
Both these events are can't miss opportunities for science and star lovers everywhere.
Food Truck Roundup
On both Friday October 13 and 14 at the Marysvale town park, there will be a food truck roundup featuring the culinary delights from some of the best food trucks In the area.
Whether you are staying for 2 hours or 2 days, there will be lots of food options for you.
The food trucks currently scheduled to attend are: Front Perch Chicken, The Gold Mine, Poutine Yeti, Waterwheel Kitchen, Takitos, Gnarly's Island, B-Fruity Food Truck, Blitz Bulls.
Barrel Racing
Immediately following the Ring of Fire Bull Riding event on October 14, there will be a Barrel Racing contest.
If you like horses, racing, and athletisism, this will be an Incredibly fun. event for you.
Don't miss out. Admission Is FREE with entrance to the Bull Riding or $8/Adult and $4.00/ages 10-17 to get In and will provide entertainment for the whole family. Children 9 and under will be admitted for free.
This event starts at 3pm at the Marysvale rodeo grounds.
Escape Room
Moore's Old Pine Inn, located In Marysvale, will be hosting an escape room event on Saturday, October 14.
Visitors will enjoy FREE Escape Rooms/Treasure hunts on Saturday from Noon to 6 pm. There will also be the paid escape room, which is called the Immersion Room up and running from Noon to 10 pm on Saturday. The cost is $20 per person. Visit Moore's Old Pine Inn for details.

Live Music @ Big Rock Candy MTN
Shortly after the Solar Eclipse finishes, there will be a live performance by the band "FLASH BACK BROTHERS".
This Is one of, If not the most popular, classic rock band In the entire state of Utah, and a show that you won't want to miss!
So after you finish watching the eclipse, head over to the grassy area In front of the trains at the Big Rock Candy Mountain and enjoy some classic rock!
